Gate Valve Cast Iron For Drinking Water With Rubber Coated Wedge F5 DIN EN 1171 (DIN 3352 T2)
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The gate valves with rubber wedge EN558 / 2 series 15, with a face length of F5 are perfectly designed for their intended purpose. The closing element (wedge) is fully vulcanized with EPDM rubber approved by ATA. The coating is characterized by excellent durability due to the double vulcanization process and the simplified design of the closing element, as well as the qualities of the rubber to retain its original shape. The sealing system is triple secured, which ensures complete corrosion protection and high reliability of the product.

Dimensions: DN 40 – 450
Our cast iron gate valve is engineered for superior performance in drinking water applications, adhering to the stringent DIN EN 1171 and DIN 3352 T2 standards. It features a robust rubber-coated wedge (F5 classification) that ensures a tight seal, minimizing leakage and enhancing durability. This valve is designed for easy operation and long service life, making it an ideal choice for municipal water systems, industrial plants, and residential water supply networks where reliability and compliance with health and safety regulations are paramount.Key specifications include a full bore design that reduces pressure loss and allows for efficient flow control. The valve body is constructed from high-quality cast iron, providing excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The rubber coating on the wedge not only improves sealing but also prevents contamination, ensuring the water remains safe for consumption. Suitable for nominal pressures up to PN16 and temperatures ranging from 0°C to 80°C, this valve meets the demands of various installation environments.Applications and benefits:Ideal for potable water systems due to non-toxic, compliant materialsEasy maintenance and installation with standardized flanges per DIN standardsReliable shut-off capability for isolation and control in pipelinesDurable construction reduces lifecycle costs and downtime
