Thermodynamic Steam Trap Threaded or Flanged ADCA DT 40/2
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Thermodynamic DT 40/2 disc traps are compact and lightweight, easy to install traps, excellent for use in high pressure systems. The insulating coating ensures consistent operation and makes it particularly suitable for applications where weather conditions, such as rain and wind, can affect normal operation.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
To drain (remove) the condensate from the steam installation.
WORKING FLUID / MEDIUM
Saturated and superheated steam.
EXECUTION
• Standard isolation cap
• Adjustable needle valve
• Operation with superheated steam
• Possibility of easy replacement of the seat and disc without dismantling the condensate pan from the line
• Not affected by vibrations and water hammer
• Easy cleaning of the filter element
JOIN
• threaded 3/8” ÷ 1″
• flanged DN 10 ÷ DN 25
• welded (on request)
Dimensions: 3/8″ – 1″ / DN 10 – 25
The ADCA DT 40/2 Thermodynamic steam Trap is engineered for high-efficiency steam system applications, offering reliable discharge of steam and non-condensable gases while preventing steam loss. Its robust construction ensures durability under varying pressure conditions, making it an ideal choice for industrial heating systems, process equipment, and energy management setups. Designed with both threaded and flanged connection options, it provides versatile installation compatibility across diverse piping configurations.Key features include:Thermodynamic operation for rapid response and minimal steam leakageConstructed from corrosion-resistant materials for extended service lifeSuitable for pressures up to [specify max pressure] and temperatures to [specify max temperature]Available in threaded (e.g., NPT, BSP) and flanged (e.g., ANSI, DIN) variantsLow maintenance design with self-cleaning mechanismThis trap is essential for optimizing steam system efficiency, reducing energy costs, and ensuring continuous operational performance in industries such as manufacturing, chemical processing, and power generation. Its compact design and high capacity make it a superior solution for applications demanding reliability and efficiency.
